The Herkimer name derives from the location where they were originally found, Herkimer County in New York. However, these Herkimer are from Pakistan and should be called "Pakimer Diamonds". 

Unusually transparent with a brilliant sparkle and double terminated, they resemble "Herkimer Diamonds" but Pakimer have their own appealing characteristics...These intriguing quartz often contain little black inclusions that are likely carbon.

*Every Herkimer Diamond is natural and unique - as such, each crystal will differ slightly due to natural variations. These quartz are rough stones naturally faceted, they are not diamonds.
